About PHCA Church

Our Church is Open

At Padstow Heights Christian Assembly you’ll find a group of people who love God.
We are a non-denominational, evangelical, and conservative local church based on the New Testament building and functioning principles, founded in 1959.

We love to learn about God as we seek to live our lives according to His plans and purposes for us.
We practice 4 spiritual principles on a weekly basis (according to Acts 2:42):

  • doctrine,
  • fellowship,
  • breaking of bread (communion), and
  • prayer.
We are spiritually affiliated with the Church at Hebron (Hyderabad, India), Jehovah Shammah (Chennai, India) and sister assemblies all around the world.

Responsible Brothers

Newton Gnanamani
Newton has been faithfully serving the Lord for 50 years, tracing his ministry roots back to the Jehovah Shammah church in Chennai. Driven by a passion to fulfill the Great Commission, Newton’s service spans active church ministry, local outreach, and dedicated evangelism in hill stations in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman Islands. He is committed to “redeeming the time” by tirelessly preaching the Gospel.
Newton and his wife, Beulah, are long-standing and active members of the Padstow Heights Christian Assembly. He also actively supports mission efforts and prayer as a member of the Indian Evangelical Mission Australia.
Ron Jarlett - Elder
Ron Jarlett has been dedicated to serving the Lord and teaching God’s Word for 70 years. Ron brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from ministries in Australia and overseas. He is a highly skilled expositor and teacher, specializing in the study of prophecy and possessing a lifetime of focused study on the Minor Prophets.
Ron and his wife, Delma, are long-standing and active members at their local church, providing a foundation of faithful service to the wider community. He is also the Principal of the Western Sydney Bible School, and an active member of Awake to Israel Ministries.
